Traps alone don't work if the entry points stay open — our MacArthur, WV crew seals the building envelope while removing what's already inside. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed wiring and insulation damage are real risks we flag during every inspection.
Our team is trained in structural exclusion work, not just trap placement — sealing gaps as small as a quarter-inch that mice can squeeze through.

Ground-level burrow treatment and foundation-gap sealing for the larger rats typically found near woodpiles, sheds, and crawl spaces.
Roof rats travel via power lines and tree branches into attics — we seal roofline gaps, vents, and eaves specifically.

Exclusion is the permanent fix — trapping without sealing just clears the current population while leaving the door open for the next one.
We'd recommend waiting — disturbed rodent droppings can aerosolize particles, and our technicians use proper PPE and sanitizing agents for safe cleanup.
